John Tunney ’s images have met with both popular and critical success.  Recent awards include Best of Show in the Cape Cod Art Association’s 2008 Explosions of Color exhibit; Best of Show in the Falmouth Art Guild’s 2008 annual photography exhibition; and first place in the Cape Cod Art Association’s 2007 National Exhibition.

John is a juried artist-member of the Cape Cod Art Association (CCAA), where he teaches courses in photography and Photoshop.  He is also a founding member of the Gallery at Twenty Pearl, a non-profit co-op art gallery in Hyannis funded in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

His work includes traditional photographs as well as contemporary photo illustrations.  Subjects range from serene landscapes to whimiscal takes on local icons. All images are printed with pigment inks on archival art paper. Most are limited editions.
