John Tunney’s fine-art images include traditional photographs as well as photography-based digital art. Working mostly on Cape Cod, his subjects range from impressionistic land and seascapes to still lifes and abstracts, and occasionally a whimsical take on a local icon. He prints his own work using archival art papers and pigment inks, creating images that often have a look and feel similar to paintings and mono prints. The results have met with both popular and critical success, winning many awards in arts shows and competitions.

John is a juried artist-member of the Cape Cod Art Association, where he teaches classes & workshops in photography and Photoshop. He also is a member of Professional Photographers of Cape Cod and Professional Photographers of Massachusetts. He lives on Cape Cod.
